About Me

I graduated with my M.A. in Film Studies from Chapman University.  I’ve written articles for The Journal of Popular Culture, The Journal of Religion and Film, and The International Journal of Baudrillard Studies.  I’m currently working on various research projects, including a chapter for a book on Pedro Almodovar, papers regarding the Holocaust in the films of Spielberg and Polanski, and an investigation into the quarterlife crisis.

My research interests include animation, film authorship, contemporary social and cultural identities, existentialism, the Holocaust, Jewish representation on film, music videos, post-feminist masculinity, postmodernism, and philosophy and psychology on film.  See my CV for more details.
